Tibet Airlines officially announced the launch of a new direct flight between Lhasa-Hong Kong on November 1st, 2019.
It was learned that the Department of Tourism and Development of Tibet Autonomous Region, together with Tibet Airlines Co., Ltd., is preparing a direct flight from Lhasa to Hong Kong and Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka in May this year. Both routes are expected to open this year. Now direct flights between Lhasa and Hong Kong have been confirmed to launch on November 1, and more international flights are expected to open one after another.
